科学形而上学工作坊  

Workshop on the Metaphysics of Science


近年来，科学形而上学逐渐受到国际学界广泛关注，尤其在科学形而上学学会（Society for the Metaphysics of Science, SMS）的推动下发展迅速。为促进相关领域的国际学术交流，中国科学院哲学研究所将于11月29日举办一次以科学形而上学为主题的工作坊。

本次工作坊将安排五场学术报告，围绕科学实践哲学、实用主义与数学哲学等领域所涉及的相关形而上学议题展开讨论。每场报告均设有指定评论人进行点评，形式参考 SMS 年会模式。

本次活动将在中国科学院哲学所报告厅举行，并同步提供线上参会方式。诚邀对相关话题感兴趣的师生参加！

The metaphysics of science has received increasing scholarly attention in recent years, especially with the promotion of the field by the Society for the Metaphysics of Science (SMS). To foster international academic exchange in the field, particularly in East Asia, a workshop on the metaphysics of science will be held at the Institute of Philosophy, Chinese Academy of Sciences, on 29th November.

The workshop will feature five talks, focusing on metaphysical issues arising from scientific practice, pragmatism, and the philosophy of mathematics. Following the format of the SMS Annual Conference, each presentation will be accompanied by comments from a designated commentator.

The event will be held in a hybrid format, and we warmly welcome all interested participants to join.
