The "Workshop for Young Scholars in Science and Philosophy" represents a series of specialized symposia initiated collaboratively by young scholars from multiple domestic institutions. This academic endeavor aims to facilitate discourse among emerging scholars while advancing philosophical discussions in an environment that harmoniously combines intellectual rigor with dynamic engagement.

The preceding iterations of this workshop were successively hosted by the Department of Philosophy at Sun Yat-sen University (0th), the Department of Philosophy at Nanjing Normal University (1st), the Department of Philosophy at Nanjing University (2nd), the School of Philosophy at Fudan University (3rd), the School of Philosophy at Wuhan University (4th), and the Department of Philosophy at Sichuan University (5th). The 6th workshop is currently being organized by the Institute of Philosophy at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIP).

The workshop attracted over 150 young scholars, faculty members, and students from prestigious institutions worldwide, including but not limited to: Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Renmin University, Minzu University, Xiamen University, Sichuan University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Capital Normal University, Hebei University, Shanxi University, Shaoxing University, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Institute of Philosophy at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Taiwan University, University of California San Diego, University of California Irvine, University of Leeds, University of Sheffield, and the Australian National University. The workshop comprised a two-day program of academic presentations.
