PERSONAL PROFILE 

I am a professor and doctoral supervisor of Institute of Philosophy, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Ph.D. in Logic, Peking University, visiting scholar of University of Amsterdam and University of Pittsburgh, Vice President of Beijing Logic Society, and former professor of Central University of Finance and Economics.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests are mainly in the field of philosophical logic, I focus on default reasoning, vagueness, reasoning of generic sentences, the formal expression of Ceteris Paribus Laws, induction and analogy etc., use the tools of logic to explore epistemic and cognitive laws that involve uncertainty. I am also interested in popularizing logic.
