I obtained my PhD degree in philosophy from the Institute for Science in Society, Radboud University, The Netherlands. In 2023, I got the researcher fellowship at Max Planck Institute for the History of Science and had a visit at the Lise Meitner Research Group China in the Global System of Science. Now I am still affiliated with this research group at Max Planck Institute for the History of Science as a guest researcher.
Research Interests
I am a STS (Science and Technology Studies) scholar with interests in scholarly publishing, research valuation and evaluation, and research integrity. My doctoral dissertation researched on the (social-economic) configurations of scientific publication systems including publishing infrastructures, organizational structures, evaluation regimes and flows of capital in different contexts. For my postdoctoral phase, I will do philosophical reflections on Open Science and its embedded science and social values in different contexts, and its influence on knowledge production and valuation.
